Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VetMitra, a veterinary clinic management platform (the “Service”), provided by VetMitra (“VetMitra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a clinic or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. The Service

VetMitra provides tools for managing veterinary clinic operations, including pet records, appointments, billing, staff and role management, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. We may change our pricing with reasonable advance notice; continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Clinic and Pet Data

You retain ownership of the clinic, pet, and client data you submit to the Service (“Customer Data”). You are responsible for the accuracy of Customer Data and for having the necessary rights and consents to submit it, including any client or animal-owner information. We process Customer Data on your behalf to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law;
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by VetMitra and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding except as necessary to use the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention practices, subject to applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. VetMitra is a practice management tool and does not provide veterinary, medical, or professional advice. You remain solely responsible for all clinical and professional decisions made using information from the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetMitra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
